  • 54% of homeless population has been incarcerated.
  • 23% of homeless clients are veterans.
  • 62% of homeless children are age 8 and under.
  • On average, homeless families have two children.
  • Non-profit agencies operate 85% of homeless assistance programs.
  • 3,000 - 6,000 homeless people in Baltimore City on any given night
