Can I cancel my monthly donation?

Absolutely. There is no long-term commitment, and you may cancel your recurring gift whenever you choose. Contact Alexandra at aprotos@baltimorestation.org.

When will my monthly donation be charged?

Your monthly donation will be automatically processed on the same date each month based on the date you enrolled in recurring giving.

Will I receive a receipt for my donations?

Yes. You’ll receive an email confirmation when you enroll in monthly giving, and you’ll also receive a year-end tax receipt summarizing your charitable contributions for your records.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. The Baltimore Station uses secure payment processing to protect your personal and financial information, so you can give with confidence.

How does my monthly gift help veterans?

Your monthly donation provides reliable, year-round support for veterans experiencing homelessness. Recurring gifts help fund housing, nutritious meals, clinical and recovery services, transportation assistance, workforce development, and other essential programs that empower veterans to achieve lasting independence.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. The Baltimore Station is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Can my employer match my donation?

Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double—or even triple—the impact of your donation. Check with your employer to see if they participate in a matching gift program and maximize your support for the veterans we serve.

How much should I give each month?

Every monthly gift makes a difference. Whether you give $10, $25, $50, or more each month, your recurring support helps provide life-changing services for veterans experiencing homelessness. Choose an amount that is meaningful and sustainable for you—every dollar has an impact.

Why are monthly donations important?

Monthly donations provide dependable funding that allows The Baltimore Station to plan ahead and respond to veterans’ needs throughout the year. Reliable support helps ensure we can continue providing housing, recovery services, employment assistance, and other critical resources without interruption.

What is the difference between a one-time gift and a recurring donation?

A one-time gift is a single contribution that provides immediate support when it’s needed most. A recurring donation is an automatic monthly gift that provides consistent funding throughout the year. Both types of donations make a difference, but monthly giving allows The Baltimore Station to better plan programs, respond to urgent needs, and provide ongoing support to veterans on their journey toward self-sufficiency.
