MONEY FOR
THE BALTIMORE
STATION’S
WORK THERAPY
PROGRAM.
Work therapy gives residents the
opportunity to build relationships,
work towards a common goal, and
practice discipline, structure and
the principals of employment and
employability.

Building Skills, Building Futures

At The Baltimore Station, recovery is about more than overcoming challenges—it’s about preparing for what comes next. Through our Work Therapy Program, residents take on daily responsibilities right here in the house: sweeping and cleaning, preparing meals, loading/unloading donations, and maintaining our facility. These tasks not only keep our community running smoothly, they also give veterans the chance to practice discipline, teamwork, and responsibility every single day.

By observing residents in these roles, our staff can identify their strengths and potential, helping us connect them with the right job opportunities when our local partners have openings.

Just $20 covers a full day’s work therapy stipend for one veteran, giving them the structure, purpose, and confidence they need to move toward long-term independence.
